An agent cannot close its own job. Somebody else has to sign it off, and the verdict is pinned to an exact commit, so nobody can claim a pass on different code. Green means proven, and a failed check stays visible next to the passing ones.
A receipt records who did the work, who verified it, what was checked and which commit it was checked against. You can read it, and so can anyone you show it to.
It is operator-verifiable, not third-party attested and not cryptographically timestamped. We would rather say that plainly than be caught claiming more.
